Setup procedures, start to finish.

These are the original Testra application notes, preserved as written. Start with AN-101 if the system is new to you.

These are the original Testra distribution files. The setup programs are DOS and early Windows era — see the note below before installing on a modern machine.

Setup & evaluation software

  • ssXP v2.27 mkxpdemo227.exe

    Motion parameter setup and evaluation program for the SS4544. A native Windows XP program that runs in a command window on Windows 2000, NT, XP and Vista, 32 or 64 bit. This is the version to use for the current LE828 firmware.

Service & warranty

Every unit is serialised, and we keep the record.

Standard warranty

One year parts and labour, FOB Tempe, Arizona. As a courtesy on warranty repairs we generally return the unit freight paid, by the same shipping method used to send it in.

Exchange & out of warranty

We can ship a replacement unit overnight with freight paid by the customer. Out of warranty units are repaired on a flat rate basis — except where there is obvious damage from misuse, improper application of high voltages, or mishandling.

Repair records

All repair work is done at the plant. Each unit carries both bar code and electronic serialisation, linked to a database holding its manufacturing, test, warranty and service history, revisions, and software and firmware versions.

Attempts to repair a unit in the field will void the warranty. Send it to us.
